Cleariqa ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Cleariqa platform, an AI-powered financial reconciliation service for small and medium-sized businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and company name. We use Supabase Auth for authentication — we never store your password directly.

Financial Data: When you connect Stripe, your bank, or QuickBooks Online via OAuth, we access transaction data necessary for reconciliation. We use read-only OAuth tokens and never store your financial credentials.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the service, including pages visited, features used, and reconciliation activity.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Cleariqa reconciliation service; match and reconcile transactions across Stripe, bank accounts, and QuickBooks; generate AI-powered explanations for discrepancies; send you service-related notifications; and respond to your support requests.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including: Fernet encryption for all sensitive data at rest and in transit; PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS) for tenant isolation; read-only OAuth access to connected financial accounts; and multi-factor authentication (MFA) support via Supabase Auth. No financial credentials are ever stored on our servers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or financial information to third parties. We may share data only with: service providers necessary to operate the platform (e.g., hosting, authentication); and law enforcement when required by applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and reconciliation data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@cleariqa.com. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent for data processing; and export your reconciliation data.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Analytics cookies may be used in anonymized form to improve the service.
